Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days,

• for sales contracts for goods: from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods;
• if your order is delivered in several partial shipments: from the day on which you or a third party named by you take possession of the last partial shipment;
• for an installation service ordered with the goods (service): from the day of conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us —

— of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. You may also declare your withdrawal directly via our online withdrawal form on this website. If you make use of this option, we will promptly send you a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal (e.g. by e-mail).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Return and costs of return

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us (ALC Metalltechnik GmbH, Schlachthofstraße 1, 9100 Völkermarkt, Austria) without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Due to their size and weight, carport kits cannot be returned by normal post and must be returned by freight forwarder. We estimate the costs as follows (§ 4 para. 1 no. 9 FAGG):

• Return from within Austria: depending on distance approx. 540.00 € to 840.00 €
• Return from other EU countries: higher, depending on country and distance, approx. 1,200.00 € to 3,840.00 € (in the order of magnitude of the outbound shipping costs according to the shipping table)

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Withdrawal where installation has been ordered

Purchase and installation form one contract with a service component. In addition, the following applies:

• The withdrawal period for the installation service is 14 days from conclusion of the contract.
• As a rule, we schedule installation dates only after the withdrawal period has expired.
• Only if, during the ordering process, you have expressly requested that we begin the installation before the end of the period (§ 10 FAGG, separate checkbox, not pre-ticked) and you subsequently withdraw, will you have to pay us an amount proportionate to the services already provided up to the time of withdrawal (§ 16 FAGG).
• Once the installation has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal in respect of the installation service expires (§ 18 para. 1 no. 1 FAGG); you also confirm your acknowledgement of this separately during the ordering process.
